RIDDOR (Reporting of Injuries, Diseases and Dangerous Occurrences Regulations)

Course Description

This course aims to raise awareness of the RIDDOR Regulations and the procedures for reporting accidents to comply with RIDDOR. Attendees will also learn about accident investigation.

Attendees will learn how to effectively investigate incidents ensuring that the most appropriate data is collected and collated to prevent recurrence of that type of incident.


Learning Outcomes

After this half day course attendees will:

• Have an awareness of RIDDOR

• Understand their responsibilities for reporting under the RIDDOR Regulations

• Be able to complete F2508 Reporting Forms

• Be able to state the definition of an accident

• Discuss legal procedures in relation to industrial accidents

• Discuss factors contributing to accidents
